New prize - Scholarship to SUPINFO’s M.Sc. program

Heads up, taxi hackers: We’re excited to announce a big addition to the hackathon prizes this week. SUPINFO, an international technology institution with campuses in Casablanca and Rabat, has teamed up with Ford to offer the SUPINFO Scholarship Award, a full scholarship to its five-year international master’s of science program.

SUPINFO, a French academic institution, has campuses in the U.S., Canada, China, Belgium, Italy, Mauritius, and Morocco, with more than 10,000 students worldwide.

The new scholarship award, worth up to $30,000 (for tuition only), is open to Moroccan citizens or residents who hold a scientific or technical baccalaureate (for first-year admission) or an IT degree (for transfer admission). The scholarship will be awarded to the eligible hackathon participant who earns the highest overall score for his or her application, based on the judging criteria. You can review the full details in the official rules.

“The Code for Taxicabs Mobility Challenge being run by Ford is an excellent opportunity for potential future Master’s degree students to showcase their talents and earn a coveted place on one of our courses, free of charge”, said Mr Zniber, Regional Director of SUPINFO “Ford has proved itself to be a leader in mobility and innovations, and as we work closely with students and local developers, we can ensure both SUPINFO and Ford can find the best possible ways to get Morocco moving more smoothly.”

We hope this unique opportunity will put some gas in your tank and get you even more rev’d up to build your taxi-sharing app.
