Start your taxi app at the 48-Hour Hackathon
Hey, taxi hackers! Our friends at KAT-O and Women in Tech Cape Town are putting together an awesome 48-hour hackathon from September 16 - 18. If you live in Cape Town or will be visiting around that time, it’s a great opportunity to start your taxi-sharing app and meet local hackers.

There’s one month remaining in the Code for Taxicabs Mobility Challenge! Submissions are due October 4 before 5pm ET.
Starting a submission is a great way to make sure that your solution meets the requirements. There’s nothing worse than getting to the deadline, only to realize that you’re missing a key component. We know you’re focused on building your Casablanca taxi-sharing app, but don't forget about your submission video. It's often the first (and sometimes only!) thing that judges and voters review.
A good video tells the story behind your submission, providing a clear and concise explanation of what your app is and does. Here are some tips and a list of screencasting tools:

SUPINFO, an international technology institution with campuses in Casablanca and Rabat, has teamed up with Ford to offer the SUPINFO Scholarship Award, a full scholarship to its five-year international master’s of science program.
