Start your taxi app at the 48-Hour Hackathon
Hey, taxi hackers! Our friends at KAT-O and Women in Tech Cape Town are putting together an awesome 48-hour hackathon from September 16 - 18. If you live in Cape Town or will be visiting around that time, it’s a great opportunity to start your taxi-sharing app and meet local hackers.
The 48-Hour Hackathon will focus on building solutions for the Code for Taxicabs Mobility Challenge, i.e., improving the taxi-sharing experience for drivers and riders in Morocco, and will also tackle local transportation issues.
Attendance at this event is NOT required to be eligible for the Code for Taxicabs Mobility Challenge—but if you’ll be in the area, you should definitely check it out.
Spaces are limited, so if you’re interested make sure you register on Quicket ASAP.
